The latest on Chelsea's transfer deadline day plans as the Blues continue to work on a few deals behind the scenes

Chelsea are expected to have a quiet conclusion to the January transfer window in terms of incomings.

The Blues have not made one first-team signing over the course of the window and that is expected to stay the same, unless an opportunity too good to turn away presents itself between now and the 7pm deadline. Mamadou Sarr has been recalled from his loan spell at Strasbourg and is now set to join Liam Rosenior's squad for the rest of the season.

Chelsea chose to activate the break clause in Sarr's loan deal with their sister club and will return to Stamford Bridge. The Senegal international played over 50 times under Rosenior during their time together at Strasbourg.

A statement from the club should soon follow but by all intents and purposes, Sarr returning to Chelsea can be considered done. Likewise with Aaron Anselmino and David Datro Fofana heading in the opposite direction.

The Chelsea duo are set to join Strasbourg on loan deals until the end of the campaign after being recalled recently. Datro Fofana is expected to link up with Gary O'Neil in France to provide cover for injured striker Emanuel Emegha. Anselmino, meanwhile, is set to replace Sarr in O'Neil's squad for the rest of the season.

Tyrique George has agreed to join Everton on loan until the end of the season, with the Toffees having an option to buy the Chelsea teenager. David Moyes wanted to bring in another wide option following Jack Grealish's season-ending injury and George has been identified as that man.

Chelsea have given the 19-year-old permission to travel to Merseyside to undergo a medical today, with an announcement expected in the coming hours. Axel Disasi, too, looks set to leave Stamford Bridge before tonight's 7pm deadline, with the Frenchman closing in on a loan move to West Ham United.

Academy star Ato Ampah is on his way to Stoke City. The 19-year-old talent is moving to the Championship side on a permanent basis after a deal, understood to be in the region of £3million, was struck with Chelsea. The Blues have inserted a hefty sell-on clause in the teenager's contract at Stoke.

Josh Acheampong, though, won't be going anywhere. Crystal Palace expressed an interest in the Cobham graduate but Chelsea, who see Acheampong as a huge part of the club's plans going forward, will not entertain any offers.
