Manchester City begin their Carabao Cup campaign on Wednesday night with a trip to Huddersfield Town.
Pep Guardiola's side will be heavy favourites to progress against their League One opponents and head into the contest buoyed by an encouraging week.
Despite shipping a late goal in a 1-1 draw with Arsenal on Sunday, City have two wins and a draw since the international break with the victories coming against Manchester United in the Premier League and Napoli in the Champions League.
The Blues will now be seeking a spot in round for of the cup as they plot a path to potential silverware in a competition they have won six times in the last 12 years, but since 2021.
Guardiola will likely rotate his side having started the same team in each of the last three matches, and has six certain absentees. Here's the injury latest.
Erling Haaland
Injury: Back
Guardiola confirmed the decision to replace the striker in the closing stages against Arsenal was due to the Norwegian suffering with back issues. It had plagued Haaland in the build-up to the Emirates trip and he will sit out the Huddersfield contest, although the problem is not thought to be serious.

Abdukodir Khusanov
Injury: Unknown
The Uzebekistan international has made the right back spot his own in the past week with three successive starts in that position. But he was forced off injured at half time in the draw with Arsenal and is unlikely to feature against the Terriers.

Omar Marmoush
Injury: Knee
Marmoush suffered an injury in the fourth minute of Egypt's goalless draw with Burkina Faso earlier this month. He tried to carry on but was withdrawn five minutes later.
He returned to Cairo on crutches and underwent a scan in Egypt to assess the extent of the damage. City have since confirmed the 26-year-old will be out for a few weeks but should return ahead of the October international break.
"We have to make the last tests," said Guardiola of the forward. "A few weeks. Before the international break he will be ready."

Rayan Cherki
Injury: Thigh
The France international is sidelined for two months after picking up a thigh injury. It could result in Cherki missing 10 matches.

Mateo Kovacic
Injury: Achilles
The midfielder is out until October with the Achilles injury that he had surgery on this summer. Kovacic went under the knife shortly after the season finished, missing the Club World Cup and the rest of pre-season with the hope that he would be able to be fit around the start of the new campaign. But he is now set to be absent until at least the October international break.
