Several senior Tottenham stars have stayed back at Hotspur Way during the international break, and half a dozen of them could be set for extra sessions under Thomas Frank and his coaching staff.
While Tottenham’s injury list is considerable, many players are now edging close to a return and could be back in action in the next few weeks.
Due to injury concerns, many of the senior players have not linked up with their international squads and have remained at Hotspur Way.
That includes Randal Kolo Muani, who was forced to pull out of the France squad after suffering a broken jaw in the first-half against Man United.

Six senior Tottenham players set for extra training sessions
Football.London now report that Frank has given his non-international players a few days off this week, but they are set to have extra training sessions under the watchful eyes of the Dane and coaching staff when they return.
Among those is Radu Dragusin, who is expected to play in a behind-closed-doors friendly as he steps up his return.
Destiny Udogie has been left out of the Italy squad due to his recent knee problems, and the Italian will have an opportunity to work on his fitness over the next two weeks.
Mohammed Kudus will remain at Hotspur Way after missing Tottenham’s last two games against Copenhagen and Man United through injury, while Frank will also get an opportunity to work closely with Dane Scarlett.
Finally, goalkeepers Antonin Kinsky and Brandon Austin will also be at the training ground over the next few weeks.
Two other injured Spurs players are also edging closer to a return
Football.London add that although Kota Takai has not been pictured training yet, the Japanese defender is not far away and could feasibly return to the pitch within the next two weeks if he has not had a setback.
Additionally, Thomas Frank has also said that the international break will be key for Dominic Solanke as he edges closer to full fitness.
However, according to reports, Solanke is not expected to feature in the behind-closed-doors friendly at Hotspur Way during the break.
