Stan Kroenke’s Arsenal vision could come true as net worth balloons by £3bn

As Arsenal continue to build and become one of Europe's best teams, the wealth of owner Stan Kroenke has ballooned in value, according to Forbes' rich list of 2026

Arsenal owner Stan Kroenke has seen his net worth swell by more than £3billion. The American venture capitalist, who was widely known as 'Silent Stan' throughout the north Londoners fanbase, has seen his wealth increase from £13.37bn ($18bn) to £16.5bn ($22.2bn).

In 2021, he was valued at around £6.09bn ($8.2bn), meaning his wealth has swelled by more than £10bn. For so long, he was a symbol of ire for Arsenal supporters, unhappy at the level of investment within the squad, the drawn out exit of Arsene Wenger and the club's attempt to join the doomed European Super League, which the billionaire apologised to Arteta and Arsenal fans for.

The 78-year-old also failed to endear himself to the club's fan-base in 2016, when he suggested he was more focussed on the business side of the club, rather than winning major trophies. This position appeared to change a year later, when Arsenal won the FA Cup and he said he wanted to win the Premier League and the Champions League.

As his wealth has grown, according to Forbes' 2026 rich list, so too has Arsenal's fortunes. They have the opportunity to win the League Cup in a couple of weeks, are one of the favourites to win the Champions League and the FA Cup, and are also on the precipice of winning a first Premier League title since 2004.

When asked by Mirror Football in 2017 if he would consider selling the club in the near future, he replied: "No, absolutely not. That’s just not our model, not what we do. I’m at a stage in life where what good does that do?

"I love Arsenal, love being involved with Arsenal. There is no finer feeling that going out and winning, like we did with the FA Cup. There’s no finer feeling — wonderful, wonderful feeling.”

On the FA Cup triumph in 2017, when Arsenal beat Chelsea 2-1 beneath the Wembley arch, he said: "There’s nothing else like it. That whole afternoon and evening, we talked about what happened on the pitch. That whole evening – how wonderful was that?

"Once you have that feeling, you want it again because there’s nothing else like that. You hear people say: ‘I’d do anything to have that again.’ Believe me, that’s how you feel. You really want that feeling again. Look, we want to be champions of everything. Premier League, Champions League – we want them all."

If Mikel Arteta's side manages to guide the Gunners to a historic quadruple, then Kroenke's vision will be complete. There is still a long way to go for the North Londoners regarding that target. In the Premier League, Arsenal are seven points clear of second placed Manchester City, who do have a game in hand, and are among the favourites to win the FA Cup and the Champions League.

Meanwhile, away from north London, Kroenke became the largest private landowner in the United States. He owns 60million square feet of real estate and 1.6million acres of ranches across the USA and Canada.

As well as Arsenal, he also owns NBA side the Denver Nuggets, ice hockey heavyweights Colorado Avalanche and Major League Soccer side Colorado Rapids.
