Supercomputer predicts Tottenham’s Premier League fate after loss to Crystal Palace

Tottenham fans will take heart from what Opta’s Supercomputer has predicted about the club’s league finish this season.

Tottenham are now staring at the precipice, sitting just one point off the drop zone and still without a win this calendar year.

Relegation will reportedly have crippling financial effects on Tottenham, whose owners will be growing increasingly nervous with each passing week.

They have just nine games to secure their Premier League status, but a data analysis platform has now given the Lilywhites some hope.

Tottenham are tipped to survive relegation

Given Spurs’ form over the last few months in comparison with that of their relegation rivals, some Tottenham fans would be fearing the worst.

However, Opta have now predicted that Spurs will manage to stay in the division and secure a 16th-place finish this term.

The data analysis platform expects Tottenham to finish with 40.04 points, one more than Nottingham Forest and three more than West Ham.

Spurs are expected to keep faith in Igor Tudor for now

The sacking of Thomas Frank and the appointment of Igor Tudor has not had the galvanising effect on the squad that supporters and the club’s hierarchy would have hoped for.

The Croat has now presided over three poor performances and defeats in three London derbies, with no signs of improvement.

However, reports indicated that Tudor is expected to take the press conference ahead of Tottenham’s trip to Atletico Madrid in the Champions League next week, with the club’s board not tempted to make another managerial change immediately.
