Opta’s Supercomputer has revealed whether Tottenham are likely to return to winning ways in the Premier League when they travel to Elland Road to face Leeds United on Saturday.
The 1-1 draw against Wolves was the most disappointing result of the Thomas Frank era so far.
While the loss to Bournemouth could be written off as a rare off day and a case of the likes of Antoine Semenyo being on song, the Midlands side came to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium without a single point on the board.
Some pundits are now questioning if Spurs can break down low-blocks under Frank, and that is a concern shared by many supporters as the Lilywhites continue to struggle to fashion chances.
Can Tottenham overcome Leeds United on Saturday?
While many Tottenham supporters are prepared to be patient and give Frank time, the Spurs head coach will be aware that the criticism will start growing louder if his side fails to win in their third successive Premier League game.
According to Opta’s Supercomputer, the Lilywhites are favourites to emerge with all three points from Elland Road.
The algorithm gives Tottenham a 44.4 per cent chance of beating Leeds on Saturday, while the newly promoted side have been given a 30.6 per cent chance of beating Spurs and really piling the pressure on Frank.
How are Leeds shaping up ahead of Spurs clash?
Leeds have had a reasonable start to the season, having won two, drawn two and lost two of their first six league games.
They have conceded nine goals so far, while scoring six. Daniel Farke’s sides at home usually commit bodies forward in attack and look to take the initiative.
That may play into Tottenham’s hands as it did at the Amex Stadium two weeks ago, with Frank being good at exploiting the weaknesses of sides who like to play on the front foot.
