Tottenham Hotspur fans will be fairly optimistic ahead of tomorrow’s Champions League fixture after hearing the prediction of Opta’s Supercomputer.

On Saturday, Spurs picked up their first league win at home since the opening day of the season, overcoming Brentford 2-0.

It was arguably Tottenham’s best performance of the season, with the Lilywhites finally showing the kind of bravery and attacking flair at home that the supporters have been craving since the start of the campaign.

Thomas Frank’s men will take confidence into what is a crucial home game in the Champions League following their loss at PSG two weeks ago.

Opta has Tottenham as massive favourites against Slavia Prague

According to Opta’s algorithm, Tottenham are extremely likely to make it three wins in three home Champions League games this season.

The supercomputer gives Spurs a 63 per cent chance of taking all three points against Slavia Prague, which is one of the highest percentages that the club have been handed all season.

The draw is the second most likely result at 20 per cent, while the Czech side have been handed a 17 per cent chance of inflicting a loss on Tottenham.

Special occasion for Spurs as a legend returns

Tomorrow’s game is vitally important for the Lilywhites’ hopes of finishing in the top eight and securing direct passage into the round of 16 stage of the Champions League.

However, it is also important for another reason: Heung-min Son will be the special guest at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, with the South Korean returning to N17 for the first time since his summer exit.

Son has admitted that it will be emotional to see the fans again, and one would expect a rollocking atmosphere at the stadium to mark the 33-year-old’s return.
