Kevin Thelwell left a similar post at Everton to become sporting director at Rangers
Robbie Thelwell is to take on the head of recruitment role at Rangers, working under his father Kevin at Ibrox.
The 26-year-old will arrive from Norwich City, where he has been head of technical scouting and loan management since 2024.
He has also had spells with Aston Villa and Wolverhampton Wanderers, where his dad was sporting director.
Thelwell senior took on the same post at Rangers this summer after leaving Everton.
He oversaw the appointment of head coach Russell Martin and the arrival of 13 new players but Rangers have endured a disappointing start to the season, winning just five of their 15 matches in all competitions.
Rangers also plan to appoint a new head scout and data insights lead.
