Thomas Frank has now provided a fitness update on Mohammed Kudus and his Tottenham Hotspur squad ahead of their Premier League fixture against Manchester United.

Tottenham Hotspur got back to winning ways on Tuesday following their emphatic 4-0 win over Copenhagen in the Champions League.

It was a convincing display at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, a ground where they have often struggled since moving into it, although those difficulties appear to be limited to domestic competitions as their European form remains near flawless at home.

However, on Saturday, attention turns back to league duties, with Manchester United set to lock horns with Spurs for the first time this season.

Both sides met four times last term, and Tottenham came out on top in every encounter, adding an extra layer of intrigue to this weekend’s fixture.

Thomas Frank will be keen to extend Tottenham’s impressive run of victories against Manchester United, while Ruben Amorim will be desperate to bounce back after his side’s defeat in Bilbao, Spain, during the Europa League final.

Both managers have injury concerns to navigate, but Frank’s list is far longer than Amorim’s, who only has Lisandro Martinez unavailable for selection.

Tottenham, on the other hand, are without at least nine first-team players as they continue their recovery towards full fitness.

Dejan Kulusevski, James Maddison, Kota Takai, Yves Bissouma, Radu Dragusin, Archie Gray, Dominic Solanke and Ben Davies all remain sidelined.

Solanke is expected to return after the international break, while Gray is also nearing a comeback following the pause.

Mohammed Kudus did pick up a knock ahead of Tottenham’s midweek encounter, but with it not being a serious concern, he could be in contention to feature against Manchester United.

Thomas Frank has now provided an update on the fitness of his Tottenham squad. Speaking to the official Tottenham website, he said: “Yes. Everyone came through it well. Cuti and Destiny responded well, fit and available. Kudus is touch and go for tomorrow – we’ll see.”
