Thomas Frank receives an ominous warning ahead of Tottenham vs West Ham

2 hours ago 36

Tim Sherwood has made a big claim about Thomas Frank ahead of Tottenham’s clash against West Ham United on Saturday.

There is a lot of negativity surrounding Spurs at the moment, with some concerning scenes unfolding following their last two losses.

Micky van de Ven got into an altercation with a Tottenham fan following the defeat at Bournemouth, while there was a massive confrontation between the Spurs players and the Villa ones after the FA Cup third round clash.

Those are clear signs that the Tottenham squad is feeling the pressure, and one former Spurs midfielder thinks things could get worse for the Lilywhites on Saturday.

Tim Sherwood suggests Thomas Frank could lose Tottenham job on Saturday

Tim Sherwood has suggested that whoever loses the London derby at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium could end up sacking the manager.

He suggested that the Hammers have a great opportunity to take advantage of a fragile Spurs side in front of their own fans.

The former Tottenham interim head coach told Sky Sports about Saturday’s fixture: “It’s El Sackico, isn’t it? I mean it is a huge game of football. If West Ham go there, play on the front foot, and take advantage of the fragile confidence of Tottenham at home in front of their supporters, I think they’ve got a real chance.”

Could Spurs’ transfer business inject some positivity into the club?

There is no doubt that there is plenty of doom and gloom surrounding Tottenham at the moment.

However, Spurs have completed the signings of Conor Gallagher and Souza, which could change the feeling around the club.

While the players themselves may not significantly improve the side, new signings tend to inject a bit of positivity into the environment, and Frank will be hoping his side can take advantage of that.
