James Maddison has just taken to social media to post an interesting injury update, which Tottenham fans will be encouraged by.
Even so close to the start of the season, Tottenham’s injury list is already piling up slowly but surely.
However, the majority of those are not long-term issues, with the likes of Ben Davies, Randal Kolo Munai and Dominic Solanke on the verge of returning to action.
Radu Draguin, Dejan Kulusevski and James Maddison are the long-term absentees, and according to reports, Maddison is expected to miss the majority of the season after suffering an ACL injury during the summer.
James Maddison is making impressive progress from his injury at Tottenham
Many thought that Tottenham’s signing of Xavi Simons was perhaps informed by the fact that Maddison may miss almost the entire season.
However, it turns out that the 28-year-old has already made plenty of progress, just a couple of months after suffering the injury during a pre-season friendly in South Korea.
The England international took to Instagram stories to share a video of him training with an exercise ball while putting all his weight on the injured leg, which is a very encouraging sign for Spurs.
Dragusin is now much ahead of schedule in his recovery from the ACL injury, which he picked up at the start of the calendar year.
Dragusin is already back training with his Tottenham teammates and looks on course to return to action much before the end of the year.
Tottenham fans will believe that following Maddison’s latest update, he too is on course to an early recovery and could potentially make an impact in the final months of the season.
