Thomas Frank is fighting for his job at Tottenham Hotspur, but the club will be making sure a plan is in place if a decision has to be made regarding the Dane’s future.
Here are five managers who could be brought in to replace Frank if Tottenham Hotspur keep failing to register positive results.
Oliver Glasner has proven himself to be a winner at Crystal Palace
Although Crystal Palace do not usually do anything notable in the Premier League, they won the FA Cup last season, which is a huge achievement for a club of their size.
Oliver Glasner masterminded this triumph, and it is important to remember that this was not his first big success as a manager.
The Austrian helped Wolfsburg qualify for the Champions League in one of his previous roles, and he won the Europa League with Frankfurt in 2022. This list of achievements would definitely be enough to put him in contention for the Spurs job.

Mauricio Pochettino would be a sensible option for Tottenham
One of the most frustrating things about Thomas Frank is that he does not seem to understand just how big a club Spurs happen to be. This means he is playing down where the team currently stands, when in reality, it is a grave concern.
This would not be a problem under Mauricio Pochettino because he understands what it means to be at Tottenham. It is the USA manager who got Spurs consistently qualifying for the Champions League year-on-year, and he helped the club to their highest-ever Premier League finish.
The one issue with Pochettino was always that he devalued domestic cup competitions, so appointing him might not mean that Tottenham will win silverware.
Enzo Maresca is out of a job, Tottenham love a freebie
Spurs have a habit of hiring former Chelsea managers, and appointing Enzo Maresca would actually make sense after his recent departure from the Blues.
Maresca was successful at Leicester City, and he won both the UEFA Conference League and the Club World Cup last year.
The Italian did not leave Chelsea in a particularly bad position in the Premier League table, and he should definitely be in Tottenham’s considerations.
Robbie Keane is progressing well as a manager
There were murmurings that Celtic could be looking at Robbie Keane before they reappointed Martin O’Neill, and he has recently been linked with Leicester City.
However, there have also been talks about him being a possibility for Tottenham, with the Irishman having spent the prime years of his playing career in North London.
Keane did well at Maccabi Tel Aviv and has recorded some strong results in Europe at Ferencvaros. He does not have experience managing in one of the top leagues on the continent, but then again, neither did Ange Postecoglou.

Xavi has previously been linked with Spurs
For whatever reason, Xavi Hernández always seems to come up when there are conversations about who will be the next Tottenham manager.
The former Barcelona star did not do well for much of the time spent managing his former club. In fact, he oversaw two separate Champions League group stage exits.
However, the Spaniard did win La Liga in the 2022/23 season. Also, his attitude towards player disciplinary action could go down well at Spurs, with the boss ensuring his old squad behaved themselves both on and off the pitch.
