However, there is no doubt that they both possess world-class attributes and complement each other well. As a pairing, they have the pace, strength, and defensive nous to keep any centre-forward quiet.
Some pundits have said that Tottenham have to keep Romero and Van de Ven fit to have a good season, and it is hard to argue against that.
