3 weeks ago 9

Tottenham Hotspur could have a crazy end to the transfer window, according to Spurs insider, Paul O’Keefe, with the club still on the lookout for two more signings after securing Radal Kolo Muani.

The deadline day has seen plenty of twists and turns already for Spurs. Randal Kolo Muani is set to become a Tottenham player, which not many saw coming until Sunday night.

It was initially reported that Spurs might terminate Bryan Gil’s contract, but that situation has also seen a turnaround, with Girona now expected to sign Gil for £8.6m.

It turns out that there might be a few more twists left before we hit the 7 pm deadline, with Tottenham eyeing a late flurry of signings.

When asked how those deals can be completed in the time left, O’Keefe revealed that Tottenham can conduct medicals in any country, with transfer targets not necessarily needing to fly to England.

Tottenham will not be signing Rafael Leao

The Spurs insider made it clear that one Serie A star, who has been mooted as a late target for Tottenham, will not be arriving at N17.

Over the last 24 hours, some sources have claimed that Spurs are eyeing an audacious move for AC Milan star Rafael Leao.

However, O Keefe has now revealed that Tottenham Hotspur have abandoned their pursuit of the Portugal international as the Rossoneri’s asking price was too steep.
