Tottenham Hotspur are one of eleven clubs keeping tabs on an exciting teenager Bundesliga prospect, and he has a release clause.
Building with the future in mind is just as important as signing established stars with first-team experience.
In recent transfer windows, Tottenham Hotspur have done both, although last summer saw Spurs focus more on players with the experience needed to steady the squad.
However, that has not closed the door on Tottenham, as they continue to keep tabs on emerging young talents across the globe.

Tottenham show interest in Kennet Eichhorn as race heats up
Tottenham are one of 11 clubs interested in signing Hertha Berlin’s 16-year-old defensive midfielder Kennet Eichhorn, according to TEAMtalk, with the youngster regarded as one of the brightest prospects in European football.
The tall, 6ft 1 midfielder has impressed with his vision, composure, and reading of the game, standing out in 12 appearances for Hertha Berlin in the 2. Bundesliga this season, despite their struggles.
Now, a host of European heavyweights, including Bayern Munich, RB Leipzig, Borussia Dortmund, Eintracht Frankfurt, Bayer Leverkusen, Real Madrid, Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester United, Arsenal, and Brighton, are all said to be vying for his signature.
Spurs among clubs monitoring Kennet Eichhorn’s release clause
Eichhorn’s growing appeal stems from his relatively modest release clause, which is believed to be capped at around £10.5 million (€12m).
The clause is structured based on the calibre of interest, with Premier League clubs and Champions League sides expected to pay the full amount, while domestic rivals in Germany could secure him for less.
TEAMtalk reports that Bayern Munich and RB Leipzig are leading the chase within Germany, hoping to use their league standing and proximity to Hertha Berlin to their advantage.
Tottenham and Arsenal, meanwhile, are considering moves of their own, with both London clubs looking to add depth ahead of the second half of the season.
It is understood that Mikel Arteta, in particular, has been drawn to Eichhorn’s potential and the teenager’s desire to play in the Champions League.
