Tottenham Hotspur find themselves in the midst of a huge transfer battle for a prolific Greek winger, who is turning a lot of heads with his performances for both club and country this season.
Regular readers of Spurs Web will be aware that several outlets have claimed over recent weeks that signing a wide-forward is Tottenham’s number one priority in January.
While big names such as Antoine Semenyo are reported to be on the Lilywhites’ radar, it has now emerged that a 23-year-old winger, who is flying high in Belgium, has also emerged as a target for Thomas Frank’s side.
However, Spurs are not the only Premier League club plotting a January move for the young starlet.

Tottenham involved in a four-horse race for Christos Tzolis
According to TEAMtalk, Tottenham have set their sights on Club Brugge winger Christos Tzolis, who has been on fire since the start of the season.
Tzolis has scored eight goals and nine assists in 23 appearances for the Belgian side, including several notable appearances in the Champions League.
Additionally, Tzolis has been very impressive for Greece, playing a starring role in their win against Scotland at the Georgios Karaiskakis Stadium on Saturday.
The report claims that Spurs have been joined in the race for Club Brugge starlet by Aston Villa, West Ham, and Crystal Palace, who are all ready to offer him a route to the Premier League in January.
How much would Spurs have to pay for Christos Tzolis?
According to TEAMtalk, Palace also explored a move for Tzolis in the summer, while Borussia Dortmund are also closely watching the winger’s situation ahead of January.
The outlet talks up the possibility of the Greek international arriving in the Premier League, due to the high cost of any potential transfer.
It is revealed that Club Brugge would demand £35m to part ways with Tzolis in the January transfer window.
