Igor Tudor was involved in a spicy post-match interview with Sky Sports following Tottenham Hotspur’s draw with Liverpool. Richarlison’s 90th-minute equaliser earned the under-fire Tudor a stay of execution with a 1-1 draw at Anfield.
Dominik Szoboszlai had fired Arne Slot’s side ahead after just 18 minutes, but Spurs responded to the setback and were arguably the better team in the second-half. And Tudor, fresh from securing his first point in charge of Spurs since he replaced Thomas Frank on an interim basis, was in a fiery mood post-match.
Asked by Patrick Davidson if he believed he had shown the hope and that Tottenham didn’t need a new manager, Tudor replied: “I always tell you what I think.”

Pushed again by Davidson about whether he believes these questions need to be asked and answered, Tudor replied: “That is not a question for me. I’m the coach. You need to ask me about players and how we play.
“This question that journalists like to ask is a question that doesn't have sense. When you ask the coach about your position, you don’t have any sense of this.
“All the coaches say the same things, but you always insist the coach needs to answer something because he is obliged to come on this press conference. Otherwise he likes to stay at home, but you insist almost always with the same questions!"
Tudor then disagreed with Davidson when he claimed he said on Friday that he can provide the hope that Tottenham can stay up.
But Tudor said: “I didn’t say that.” Before he continued: “What I will answer, do you provide hope? What kind of question (is that). What do I need to tell you now? I tell you what I tell my players, of course. Are we finished or not? Okay, thank you.”
Reflecting on the draw, Tudor had earlier told Sky: "Yes. It is an amazing, incredible point we take here, and deserving We showed team spirit. Congratulations to the guys.
"It is very difficult to even explain our circumstances. In training, we prepared in one way. This morning, Conor [Gallagher] says that he is not able to play so we need to change the players and positions.
“The moment is really strange and even more challenging to show who we are. The players were really amazing."
Before the Croatian continued: "In attack we tried something different. In this moment it's difficult to work on an structure in attack so we try to simplify it otherwise it can get more difficult. The style of football is what it is, and I think it's a good start. "
"The team spirit was amazing. This was the main demand. The quality is there. Every point is crucial, we are just going game by game. We hope today is a turning point.
