Thomas Frank and the Tottenham Hotspur board are under pressure to transform the club's fortunes
Vivienne Lewis was confronted by an angry Tottenham Hotspur supporter following Saturday afternoon's defeat to West Ham.
The club's senior managing director, the daughter of Joe, who ceded control of the Lilywhites in 2022 and formally handed his stake to a family trust, was told to 'sell up' during a brief exchange in the stadium's concourse.
Vivienne and Steve Perryman took a few moments to speak with the Spurs fan, who wasn't afraid to make his feelings clear about the club's current state. The Tavistock Group board member and the Tottenham legend quickly lost interest.
As they began to turn their backs and walk away, the Lilywhites supporter appeared to accuse Vivienne of 'not investing in the team' and urged her to 'sell up'. It's unclear what else was said in the video, which was uploaded to X on Sunday morning.
A user, who goes by @trevortheyid, uploaded the encounter on social media and claimed he was involved in the incident. He wrote: "I spoke to Viv Lewis - I spend £24k a year and told her what I thought. She just walked away and did not have the guts to face up to me!"
It was uploaded in response to a fellow Tottenham fan and sports presenter, Marcus Buckland, who described the club as a 'mess'. They posted: "As I left the ground this evening, our supporters were fighting + screaming at each other.
"A little boy was crying his eyes out and, in the background, came the victorious chants of the away fans. As miserable an afternoon as I can recall for a long time. The club is a mess [crying emoji]."

The user, @trevortheyid on X, added: "I said, I pay £24k a year to watch this dross, when is she going sack Frank and sell up. What annoyed me is she just walked away and didn’t face up, just say something. Before the game, I said to her we need to hear from the Lewis family directly!"
Vivienne and the Lewis family, who were responsible for Daniel Levy's departure in September, were expected to be far more visible this season. The Tottenham chief attended the pre-season tour to Hong Kong and South Korea.
She also sat next to Levy in the front row of the directors' box during the 3-0 win over Burnley in August. In September, Vivienne featured alongside Charles Lewis, who is also a senior managing director at Tavistock and sits on the board, and Vinai Venkatesham, the Spurs CEO, for the UEFA Champions League match against Villarreal.
And again a week later for the Carabao Cup third round when Tottenham hosted Doncaster Rovers. The Spurs chief wasn't pictured in the stands again until Saturday afternoon, watching West Ham nick a late winner.
Thomas Frank was booed off the pitch at the final whistle as he applauded the south stand. When the Dane walked down the tunnel afterwards, one fan shouted: 'Get out of our club'.
Frank has faced the brunt of criticism until now, with Vivienne and the Tottenham board expected to soon make a decision on the head coach's future.
According to Sky Sports, Venkatesham was spotted arriving at Hotspur Way on Sunday morning. Live from the training ground in north London, James Green said: " It's business as usual from the players' point of view.
"They arrived for a cooldown session and began preparations for Tuesday's game against Borussia Dortmund. Thomas Frank arrived at the training ground very early this morning.
"But one arrival that sparked interest was CEO Vinai Venkatesham, who also arrived early on Sunday morning."
