Igor Tudor is expected to be in charge of Tottenham's Champions League last-16 second leg with Atletico Madrid - and will speak to the media in the pre-match press conference on Tuesday afternoon.

The Croatian was under increasing pressure heading into Sunday's clash with Liverpool, having lost his first four matches in charge including the humiliating 5-2 defeat by Atletico in last week's last-16 first-leg.

But Spurs showed signs of promise by drawing 1-1 at Anfield, offering Tudor a lifeline despite his struggles since arriving as interim head coach until the end of the season.

It was an encouraging performance from the north Londoners, with Richarlison grabbing a late equaliser at Anfield to ensure they returned home with a deserved point.

Tudor will now turn his attention to the European showdown, despite having an uphill task in his bid to lead Spurs to the quarter-finals.

Spurs confirmed on Monday morning that Tudor will speak to the media on Tuesday at 2pm in the routine MD-1 press duties, ahead of the clash at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Wednesday night.

And in another boost, fan group Change For Tottenham (CFT) have confirmed that they will no longer protest ahead of the must-win clash with Premier League relegation rivals Nottingham Forest this Sunday.

Spurs are in a relegation dogfight and sit just two places and one point above West Ham in 18th, with 17th-placed Forest on 29 points with the Hammers but they have a better goal difference.

There have been rumours of a protest by Spurs fans against the ownership ahead of the clash with Forest, but it has now been called off.

In a statement CFT said: "Although this ownership and Board don't deserve it, we feel duty bound to stand with other supporters' groups and the fan collective generally at the Nottingham Forest game and have made the difficult decision to postpone any potential protest for this game.

"In what feels like an immediate generational threat to Tottenham Hotspur's status as a Premier League club, we are putting on hold any announced match day protests for now whilst continuing with our other initiatives. We will however continue monitoring the situation.

"This is a very difficult decision to make in light of the fact that the ownership are responsible for putting us in this perilous position, but first and foremost we are fans of Tottenham Hotspur Football Club. Not to mention that the success of our movement is a numbers game we've decided that at a time when fans feel we need to get behind the team and whilst there are separate supporter initiatives being arranged for the Nottingham Forest match, that it makes sense to not protest for this particular game.

"We appreciate all of the continued support from you as fans, and we hope that you can appreciate that this is an extremely difficult decision for us to make. We remain steadfast in our desire to hold the ownership and Board to account, but at what feels. like such a pivotal moment in our history and indeed at a time where we feel the support for CFT could risk being compromised, we are making this decision in spite of some of our own frustrations.

"As always, we support the team and not the regime and we hope this only further galvanises our fanbase on this immediate threat of helping to pull the team over the line whilst cementing the deserved critique of what has been a shambolic ownership where the time for more action will come.
