Here's the Tottenham Hotspur team that Thomas Frank has selected to face Burnley in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon

Thomas Frank has stuck with a back three as Tottenham take on Burnley on Saturday with three changes in the Premier League.

Spurs got back to winning ways as they overcame Borussia Dortmund 2-0 in the Champions League on Tuesday night to secure their place in the play-off round. A win on Wednesday in Frankfurt will catapult Frank's team straight into the round of 16 as one of the top eight clubs in the table.

That must wait thought as Tottenham face the immediate test of Scott Parker's Burnley side who lie 19th in the table but have begun to turn their form around with draws against Liverpool and Manchester United.

While Frank has lost Lucas Bergvall to an ankle injury against Dortmund which required surgery on Friday, he does have players back in contention who were not registered for the midweek European clash.

He has gone with a back three again with Kevin Danso and Cristian Romero joined by Micky van de Ven.

In come January signing Conor Gallagher and Yves Bissouma, who impressed with his performance against West Ham which was his first appearance of the season for the north London club.

Archie Gray played well against Dortmund but with Gallagher and Bissouma unable to face Frankfurt, the 19-year-old is rested for this one with Frank also saying Joao Palhinha is close to being ready to return but not in time for this match.

Decisions had to be made over how fit Dominic Solanke is after his first start in eight months, as well as Destiny Udogie with his first one in seven weeks and Xavi Simons, who has been playing with a painful and swollen ankle. It is Solanke and Xavi who start with Udogie on the bench.

Mathys Tel comes back into the squad but only on the bench while Pape Matar Sarr is back after returning to training after the Africa Cup of Nations, where he was ill as Senegal won the final, but does not make the bench. Neither is new signing Souza, who was finally announced on Thursday. The 19-year-old left-back will be severely lacking sharpness with it being more than a month since the Brazilian season ended so misses out.

Here's the Tottenham team that Frank has selected:

Vicario; Danso, Romero, Van de Ven; Porro, Gallagher, Bissouma, Spence; Odobert, Xavi; Solanke. Subs: Kinsky, Dragusin, Udogie, Byfield, Gray, Tel, Williams-Barnett, Kolo Muani, Scarlett.
