Tottenham could be set to reignite their pursuit of Morgan Gibbs-White, with fresh claims suggesting the saga is far from over ahead of the summer window.
Tottenham Hotspur did not enjoy much success in the transfer market last summer, with several preferred targets slipping through their grasp.
Morgan Gibbs-White immediately springs to mind, as Spurs believed they had secured the Nottingham Forest man’s signature after reaching his release clause, only for the deal to collapse.
An angry Evangelos Marinakis felt that Spurs had discovered Gibbs-White’s release clause illegally and, as such, fought against the midfielder’s move to north London.

Tottenham ready to revive Morgan Gibbs-White interest in the summer
Following the failed transfer, Gibbs-White put pen to paper on a new Nottingham Forest contract. However, a fresh report from Sports Boom now states that Tottenham are once again circling ahead of the summer transfer window.
It is understood that Spurs are preparing to revive their interest in Gibbs-White, as the side that previously finished in the European places battles relegation.
Gibbs-White is said to be considering his future, with uncertainty over whether Forest is the right platform to strengthen his claims for a regular role in Thomas Tuchel’s England squad.
Spurs face competition and hefty valuation for Gibbs-White
While Tottenham may test the waters this summer, Forest are determined to demand a significant fee.
It is claimed that, regardless of which division the Tricky Trees compete in next season, they will stand firm on a £69m – £74m valuation.
This time, Spurs will not have a clear run at him, with Manchester United and Chelsea also recently linked with a move for Gibbs White.
Tottenham themselves will be hoping they can avoid relegation this term if they are to compete with their other Premier League rivals for the Forest talisman’s signature.
