Tottenham could be without 14 players for Thomas Frank's make-or-break Dortmund game

Thomas Frank insisted it was business as usual on Monday as his Tottenham Hotspur side prepared for the Champions League clash against Borussia Dortmund.

Frank's future has been uncertain after he faced chants of “you’re getting sacked in the morning” from Spurs fans towards the end of the 2-1 defeat to West Ham United at the weekend.

And heading into tonight’s game at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Frank’s options are extremely limited, as as many as 14 of his players could miss the game.

However, Xavi Simons has already confirmed that he will play through the pain to help his side after picking up a knock against the Hammers.

He said: “I’m a guy, I’m willing to give everything to win and obviously if I had really, really, really (bad) pain, then I wouldn’t play, but it’s now a situation that I can handle myself as well even though I have a little bit of pain. I want to play the game, I want to help the team and to grow into that.
