Tottenham will look to sign Nottingham Forest and England midfielder Morgan Gibbs-White this summer transfer window, according to reports.
Spurs are close to finalising their first major signing of the Thomas Frank era with Mohammed Kudus. football.london understands that an agreement with West Ham worth £55milllion has been reached.
Kudus is expected to sign a six-year deal in North London and will join Mathys Tel and Koko Takai through the door. However, Spurs aren't relaxing their recruitment drive there with Gibbs-White on their radar, as per The Athletic's David Ornstein.
Interest in the former Wolves man was first reported by The Athletic, who claim Tottenham are set to turn their focus on the playmaker. Gibbs-White is said to be high on the club's shortlist and there's hope that Spurs can convince the 25-year-old to move to the capital.
Frank is believed to be a long-term admirer of Gibbs-White with his performances at Forest earning him a call-up to the England national team and interest growing from some of the Premier League's top teams.
Gibbs-White was strongly tipped to sign for Manchester City this summer but Pep Guardiola has instead welcomed Rayan Cherki and Tijjani Reijnders into his midfield.
There's hope that Kudus will be part of the Spurs squad that travels to Reading for the first pre-season friendly of the summer on July 19. Tottenham will then travel to Kenilworth Road to face Luton Town before they travel to Hong Kong where they'll face North London rivals Arsenal on July 31.
Frank’s men will then visit Korea to participate in the 2025 Coupang Play Series. They will meet Newcastle on Sunday August 3, two weeks before the Premier League campaign starts.
