Tottenham discover Yann Bisseck price tag as Inter Milan are desperate to balance the books

Tottenham Hotspur are plotting a move for Inter Milan star Yann Bisseck, and a new report has shed light on the fee that the Nerazzuri will demand for the player in January.

It has been widely reported over the last month that Spurs are working to add a centre-back to their squad in the January window, given the fitness record of Micky van de Ven and Cristian Romero.

Several Premier League centre-backs have been linked with a move to N17, but it has emerged that the Lilywhites are also eyeing a young defender who has been extremely consistent in Serie A.

A couple of days ago, Gazzetta dello Sport claimed that Tottenham are considering making a move for Yann Bisseck, who has not been a regular in the Inter starting eleven this season.

How much would Tottenham have to pay for Yann Bisseck?

Tottenham’s interest in the 24-year-old is now new, with reports indicating back in the summer that Spurs explored a swap deal with Inter involving Bisseck and Radu Dragusin.

A new report in Fichajes has now claimed that Inter need to sell players to balance their books and revamp their squad in the upcoming transfer window.

The report says that the Nerazzuri are thus open to letting the German international leave, with Tottenham Hotspur named as the ‘main candidates’ looking to sign him.

The outlet claims that Inter are demanding €50m (£44m) for Bisseck, but an offer of around €35m (£30.8m) may be enough to price the centre-back away from the San Siro.

Spurs face competition from London rivals for Bisseck

Fichajes say that the Premier League is the Inter defender’s most likely destination in January as the player wants to test himself in England.

However, Tottenham are not the only Premier League club after the 24-year-old, with Crystal Palace also expressing an interest in taking Bisseck to Selhurst Park.

The publication adds that the former Koln man is thus at a crossroads, and has to make a big decision between fighting for his place at Inter or taking up a new challenge in London.
