Tottenham dubbed ‘unbearable to watch’ by former player with 34 appearances

Tottenham Hotspur failed to provide any entertainment during a 0-0 draw with Brentford, and one former Spurs midfielder has had enough.

Tottenham Hotspur have been very inconsistent this season and rarely follow up victories with anything other than draws or defeats.

This has once again continued to be the case in the past week, with Spurs unable to get the better of Brentford after beating Crystal Palace last Sunday.

While the draw is an unsatisfactory result for Tottenham, the performance has been the biggest cause for frustration due to a lack of imagination in attack.

Jamie O’Hara rips into Spurs after draw with Brentford

Ex-Spurs player Jamie O’Hara never holds back how he feels about the way Tottenham are playing, and he was one of Ange Postecoglou’s biggest critics last season.

However, the pundit is just as displeased with Thomas Frank, and he has called out the mentality at Spurs after the Brentford clash.

He posted on his X account: “Honestly, it’s getting unbearable to watch, we play like it’s just ok to draw to Brentford, painful.”

The Tottenham fans have turned on Thomas Frank

O’Hara is not alone in his frustration with the way Tottenham are playing, as was made clear by the chorus of boos which met Frank after the full-time whistle on Thursday night.

The Spurs board may want to back their manager in the long-term, but it will be difficult to persevere with him if the supporters continue to protest his presence in the dugout.

If Frank is to even come close to seeing out his contract at Spurs, he needs to change the mentality in the Tottenham first-team squad, because no one will be patting him on the back for a mid-table finish.
