There has been a big update on Tottenham’s stance on Mikey Moore ahead of the summer transfer window.
Moore continues to demonstrate his class for Rangers, with the winger now appearing settled at Ibrox and getting better with each outing.
It has been widely reported that the Tottenham youngster would be open to extending his loan spell at Rangers as he feels settled in Glasgow.
It was suggested that Spurs would agree to extend Moore’s stay at the Scottish club if it guarantees him regular first-team football, but a fresh update has now made a surprising claim about the Lilywhites’ stance on the 18-year-old.

Tottenham ready to sell Mikey Moore permanently to Rangers
Football FanCast have now revealed that talks have already begun between Rangers and Tottenham about extending the winger’s stay at Ibrox.
The report states that discussions are ongoing about a permanent transfer of the Spurs academy graduate to the Glasgow side.
It is revealed that Tottenham are willing to sanction the sale of Moore as long as the deal includes a hefty sell-on clause and grants them the first refusal on any future move for the youngster.
The report adds that the teenager is open to remaining with Danny Rohl’s side over the long term.
Why the proposed Moore deal may make sense for Spurs
At first glance, it may seem ridiculous that Tottenham are considering letting go of one of the most talented young players.
However, if the deal includes a sell-on clause and a first refusal or buy-back option, it is in essence nothing more than an extended loan deal.
Real Madrid have used a similar policy with many of their young players such as Nico Paz, who could be set to return to the Santiago Bernabeu after developing into a top player at Como.
