Tottenham Hotspur have received a timely lift ahead of another London derby, with two senior defenders back in the fold as attention turns to Craven Cottage. Supporters have been quick to react.
Tottenham Hotspur have been handed a big boost ahead of their London derby encounter with Fulham this weekend.
Both Kevin Danso and Pedro Porro are fit, have returned to training and are back in contention for Sunday’s clash, having missed the last four and five games in all competitions respectively.
However, Tottenham are still expected to be without at least nine players when they travel to Craven Cottage, which remains a significant number.

Tottenham fans react to Kevin Danso and Pedro Porro return before Fulham fixture
Fans of the Lilywhites have now expressed their delight at the return of two defensive options following what was a disastrous outing against Arsenal last time out.
Taking to social media, one fan said about the return of both Danso and Porro: “Hope they actually stay fit this time, or it is just more drama waiting to happen.”
Another added: “Porro is much better as a RWB and Danso never lets us down. I rate our chances.”
One more Tottenham fan commented: “Absolutely buzzing that Porro is back. Our only player with a touch of class. We have missed him so much.”
Another added: “I think Danso over Dragusin is much better.” Another fan expects them to return to the team: “Both needed massively, straight into the team on the weekend.”
While a final Tottenham fan stated, “Their return is very important for our current situation, especially Porro, whose injury had a significant impact.”
Spurs handed lift as relegation battle intensifies
Of course, having Pedro Porro and Kevin Danso back is a big boost for Igor Tudor, and we expect both Porro and Danso to start from the off against Fulham.
Spurs are in desperate need of a lift, and getting victories on the board is absolutely crucial for the Lilywhites if they are to avoid relegation.
This week is a big one in that battle, as West Ham United take on Liverpool, and should the Hammers fail to secure a victory and Tottenham beat Fulham, the gap between Spurs and the Hammers will be seven points – a bit of daylight.
