Tottenham supporters are buzzing after news broke of a £100 million investment into the club, with fans already drawing up dream signings ahead of the January transfer window.

Tottenham Hotspur’s majority owners, ENIC, are finally showing some ambition following the injection of £100 million, which is expected to be made available to Vinai Venkatesham and his technical staff.

Spurs had their first major taste of success on the pitch last season since 2008 when they lifted the Europa League trophy in Bilbao, Spain, a triumph that has sparked a new wave of optimism across the club.

Tottenham are now looking to double down on that success, and with the January transfer window set to open in a few months, fans are already getting excited about what could come next.

Tottenham fans draw up list of dream signings after £100 million boost

Tottenham fans have now begun to draw up a shortlist of players they want to see the club sign in the coming months.

A £100 million investment represents a significant injection of funds and could help Spurs bring in several high-quality players, especially as transfer fees are often paid in instalments spread across financial years.

Supporters have wasted no time in naming their preferred targets. One fan said: “£100m + Richarlison for Mbappe.” Another added: “Semenyo and a proper midfielder, I am talking a level or two above Bentancur or Palhinha.”

One more commented: “Semenyo, Wharton, Ederson.” Another said: “Semenyo, Wharton, Kane,” while others called for a wide player: “One LW like Leao or Semenyo.” Another fan mentioned: “Desire Doue.”

Other names mentioned by Tottenham fans included Alex Scott, Julian Alvarez, Victor Osimhen, Rodrygo, and Ademola Lookman.

Spurs have been linked with both Harry Kane and Antoine Semenyo in recent weeks, and their addition would undoubtedly elevate the levels at the club.

Semenyo is a top-class winger, and off the left, he has already managed to grab more goals than any of Tottenham’s current options in that position.

Wilson Odobert is yet to score this season, Mathys Tel has managed one goal with his strike coming from a central role, Brennan Johnson has scored three, while Xavi Simons is yet to find the net.

Semenyo, on the other hand, has scored six league goals and provided three assists.

Kane has netted 18 goals in all competitions for Bayern Munich, while Richarlison remains Tottenham’s leading scorer with three in all competitions.
