Tottenham are weighing up their next move on the left flank, and supporters have now revealed the forward they believe offers the sharpest upgrade heading into January.

Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with a fair few forward options ahead of the January transfer window.

Dusan Vlahovic, Antoine Semenyo and Iliman Ndiaye are just a few of those reported to be on the radar for Spurs, with the club exploring both established and emerging profiles as they assess what the squad needs in the second half of the campaign.

Tottenham could do with some help in the attacking area of their team, both up top and on the left, and with names flying around, Spurs fans have taken to giving their ideal picks for that role as they look ahead to what January may bring.

Tottenham fans debate Savinho, Iliman Ndiaye, Antoine Semenyo and Nusa options

Taking to social media platform X, the Tottenham faithful gave their thoughts on who they would want to see join the Lilywhites, and the replies painted a picture of split opinions across the fanbase as they weighed up the different profiles on offer.

They had their picks between Savinho, Musa, Ndiaye and Semenyo. Naming their ideal pick, one fan said: “Ndiaye or Musa”, while another mentioned: “Just pay for Semenyo January the 1st and get it done. No f***ing around for once”.

The replies continued to roll in. One supporter stated: “Savinho just signed a new deal so can rule that out straight away. Semenyo for me, plays off the left and is Prem proven exactly what we need. We need to avoid spending big on players outside the league for a while”.

There were more shouts for Semenyo, including: “Semenyo for me, proven Prem experience n will hit the ground running”.

Another fan preferred Nusa, saying: “Nusa, then Semenyo or someone to be behind Odobert since he has been showing class lately”.

The opinions kept coming in, with a fan adding: “If we were lucky enough to get one of those I would be going all out for Ndiaye. Absolute class, 2nd choice would be Semenyo”.

Spurs assessment of Antoine Semenyo ahead of January

Tottenham were handed a big boost in their pursuit of Semenyo, with reports from yesterday stating that the Ghana international will be available for £65 million, which places him within a slightly more accessible range for clubs looking to strengthen.

That is five million cheaper than Bournemouth’s summer valuation and £15 million more than the £50 million Spurs reportedly put in for Semenyo last summer.

The Tottenham faithful are clearly big fans of Semenyo, who has grabbed six goals and three assists all season already, as they urged their club to make a move for him following news of a fresh cash injection.
