Tottenham Hotspur supporters have confirmed plans for what will be the first organised fan protest of the post-Daniel Levy era.
The Tottenham Hotspur post-Daniel Levy era has not been any different to what fans have been used to seeing.
Results on the pitch have barely improved, with Spurs knocked out of both domestic cup competitions, the Carabao Cup and FA Cup, with both exits coming rather early, and as a result, the club’s chances of silverware this season have been greatly reduced, with just the Champions League left to play for.
In the Premier League, Tottenham have been just as dismal as they run the risk of being sucked into a relegation scrap, with just six points separating them from 17th-placed Nottingham Forest.

Tottenham fans organise first protest of post-Levy era
The poor state of affairs on and off the pitch has led to growing fan frustration, and now a fan-led protest has been organised for 17 January ahead of Spurs’ London derby encounter with West Ham United, with the venue set for the corner of Park Lane and the High Road, outside the Corner Pin pub.
Confirming the plans on social media, the Change for Tottenham account announced the protest, outlining concerns over transfer strategy, clarity around the Director of Football role, ongoing injury problems, recent performances and ticket prices, while calling on supporters to attend and make their voices heard.
Their statement read: “OUR CLUB, OUR VOICE. In Stadium Protest & Meet Up Announcement: Saturday 17th January at 2 pm before West Ham, on the corner of Park Lane and the High Road, outside the Corner Pin pub.
“Following on from our previous statement, we have decided to take action on Saturday 17th January, starting at 2 pm, before the West Han game.
“There is growing frustration within the fan base surrounding the board’s transfer strategy. clarity on the Director of Football role, our continuous injury crises season after season, recent results/performances on the pitch and extortionate ticket prices.
“We believe acting now will hopefully mean our voices are heard at such a pivotal time during the January transfer window. Our first team and squad needs serious investment, and after The Lewis Family Trust, Vinai Venkatesham and Fabio Paratici told supporters that they were ready to be ambitious and prioritise trophies after Daniel Levy stood down, all we ask as fans is that these promises are kept.
“We are meeting at 2 pm on the corner of Park Lane and the High Road, outside the Corner Pin pub. Please bring (preferably yellow) banners, flags, scarves and your voices to make sure we are seen and heard..
“We will then head into the stadium at approx 2:25 pm for a 2:30 pm concourse meet and an in-stadium protest. We are meeting between entrances 20 and 21 by the balcony in front of block 254 to create as much atmosphere as possible
“Yellow is our colour for change, so please wear, wave or hold as much yellow as possible before and during the game. Make sure you join us to ensure your voice is heard and play your part in Change for Tottenham COYS”
Spurs supporters are not wrong to demand action from the board
Tottenham supporters have every right to demand change at the helm of their club, especially with results failing to improve and the new structure yet to deliver.
Spurs are now almost two weeks into the winter transfer window and only Conor Gallagher and Souza are close to signing, despite reports that a £100 million cash injection was put into the club before the window opened.
Fabio Paratici, who was tasked with leading the rebuild, now appears to be on the way out, with Fiorentina keen on securing his services, a development that will only hinder the club’s progress on the pitch.
Spurs fans need to see action, as it has been all talk from those higher up, and until action is taken, the supporters of the Lilywhites cannot sit back and watch their club slump from its former heights.
