LAFC are advancing in talks to sign Tottenham’s Heung-min Son

It has now been revealed by GiveMeSport that talks between the MLS side and the Tottenham Hotspur star are ‘advancing’, with the Lilywhites now willing to sanction an exit.

LAFC believe that a transfer is very much possible towards the end of the transfer window, and they are close to eyeing personal terms with Son.

However, the outlet adds that the American club still face competition from the Middle East for the 33-year-old, with Saudi clubs willing to pay $40m (£35m) with add-ons for the forward.

Tottenham are ready to accept a cut-price fee from LAFC

According to reports over recent days, Spurs are ready to accept just £15m-£20m for Son from LAFC if the Tottenham captain decides he wants to move to California.

This is despite Saudi clubs being willing to offer almost double the amount for the former Bayer Leverkusen star.

It is revealed that Tottenham’s gesture is because the club want to part ways with their legend on good terms and are thus ready to allow him to decide what he wants to do.
