Tottenham assistant Justin Cochrane has shared a heartfelt message with supporters as he prepares to join up with the England national team for international duty, reflecting on the team’s strong start to the season under Thomas Frank.

Tottenham Hotspur got back to winning ways in their last Premier League fixture against Leeds United, where they secured a 2-1 victory over the newly promoted side.

It was not an easy victory by any stretch of the imagination, as Tottenham had to dig deep and show plenty of grit and determination to see the game through.

Mohammed Kudus opened his account for the club with a well-taken finish. At the same time, Mathys Tel also got off the mark in the fixture, following his tough start this season.

Justin Cochrane sends message to Tottenham fans before international duty

That victory also ended Spurs’ run of failing to secure a win before an international break since 2023, offering the perfect platform for Thomas Frank and his coaching staff to build on.

Following the recent victory, Frank’s assistant, Justin Cochrane, has now shared a message with Tottenham fans, offering a brief reflection on his time at the club so far and highlighting the mentality within the group.

Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Cochrane expressed his satisfaction with the team’s progress and praised the unity between the players and supporters.

In his post, he wrote: “Unbeaten in 7 games, 14 points from 7 PL games. A good start. Lots to work on, but the mentality and character shown gives you a foundation to work from. The supporters were TOP today! The boys felt the support 👏🏿. I meet up with England 🏴 next week, lots to look forward to ⚽️.”

Club football is now set to pause for two weeks, with Spurs currently sitting third in the Premier League table, just two points behind Arsenal.

The break comes at a useful time for the Tottenham squad, allowing the coaching staff to assess the early progress made across all departments.

Justin Cochrane is not the only Tottenham figure preparing to represent England during the international window, with Djed Spence also earning a call-up following an impressive start to the season.

Elsewhere, Xavi Simons and Micky van de Ven have both been called up to the Dutch national team, capping off a solid spell for Tottenham’s international contingent.
