One experienced Tottenham star’s future at the club hangs in the balance ahead of the January transfer window, as transfer priorities are set.
Given the injuries that Tottenham have had this season, one senior Spurs man had a great opportunity to make himself undroppable, but he has failed to deliver.
Even though Richarlison has six goal contributions in 10 Premier League games this term, the numbers do not tell the full story, with his form tailing off completely after a good start to the campaign.
This has led to speculation that Tottenham could cash in on Richarlison in January, and it has now been revealed that there is no shortage of interest in the striker.

Tottenham highlight three positions to strengthen in 2026
Over the last few weeks, some outlets have said that Spurs will wait until next summer to cash in on Richarlison, insisting that the Lilywhites will not consider a sale mid-season.
However, journalist Graeme Bailey has now claimed that the North Londoners will be open to offloading the 28-year-old in January as long as they bring another striker through the door.
Bailey told TBR Football: “There is interest in Richarlison — he decided not to leave last summer, as he focused on game time for Tottenham and winning his spot in the Brazilian squad. Thomas Frank likes the player, and he has six goal contributions in six league starts — showing he is capable of operating in Frank’s style.
“Tottenham are looking at new strikers, but whether it happens in January remains to be seen. We believe the left wing and centre-back positions to be priorities at this point, but very much next summer [they could sign a striker].
“As it stands, Tottenham are not convinced by their current options, both Richarlison and Dominic Solanke, and we are yet to see if Randal Kolo Muani will be their answer. But I am told Tottenham are still in that place of assessing their squad and the forward line is a big part of that.”
Richarlison could return to his former club in January
It has been reported by some publications that Everton are considering re-signing Richarlison, three-and-a-half years after selling him to Spurs for £60m.
Last week, TEAMtalk claimed that Richarlison would jump at the chance to return to the Toffees if David Moyes’ men made a move for him in January.
The report added that the Brazilian still feels loved by the Everton supporters but explained that the Merseyside club are yet to make a final decision on whether to push ahead with a move for the Tottenham man.
