Tottenham Hotspur fans will hate what West Ham supporters were chanting at Craven Cottage

Tottenham Hotspur fans will certainly not like what West Ham United fans were singing during their 1-0 win away at Fulham on Wednesday.

Spurs were second best all over the pitch during their 2-1 defeat to Fulham at the weekend, with Igor Tudor admitting Tottenham have lots of problems to solve.

It cannot have been an encouraging sight for the Croat when he saw their relegation rivals, West Ham, beat Fulham on the very same pitch just a few days later.

The Hammers’ win at Craven Cottage means that Tottenham sit just a point off the relegation zone, with pressure now well and truly on the Lilywhites ahead of their clash against Crystal Palace this evening.

West Ham are closing the gap on Spurs

The Hammers have undoubtedly been in better form across 2026 than Tottenham, who are yet to win a single Premier League game this calendar year.

The West Ham fans who travelled to Craven Cottage certainly let their London rivals know that they are gaining ground on them.

As relayed by Peter Smith of Sky Sports, the away fans in West London on Wednesday chanted: “We’re coming for you, Tottenham Hotspur, we’re coming for you.”

Relegation is a stark possibility for Tottenham

Jamie O’Hara has said that the Tottenham players do not have the stomach for a relegation fight, unlike West Ham and Nottingham Forest.

The pundit blasted the likes of Xavi Simons and demanded that the Spurs players need to match the opposition’s work rate to earn their right to play.

With pressure now well and truly on, and with a struggling Palace side visiting N17, the leaders in the Tottenham squad need to step up this evening, or it could be simply too late.
