Tottenham have been credited with interest in the midfielder, and it is understood that interim manager Igor Tudor is the one who recommended the Roma man as a potential option this summer.

It is claimed that Pellegrini’s ‘marriage’ to Roma is nearing its end and that a renewal is ‘still far away’, with no agreement in sight.
