Tottenham Hotspur are one of three Premier League clubs considering moving for a forward who is turning a lot of heads with his performances in Germany this season.
Spurs felt Dominic Solanke’s absence during the striker’s long injury lay-off earlier this season, with Richarlison blowing hot and cold and Randal Kolo Muani failing to show a killer instinct in the final third.
With reports suggesting that Tottenham are ready to make some ambitious moves in the summer, one would expect a new number nine to arrive through the door.
A Bundesliga striker, who was linked with a move to Spurs last summer, could be back on the market, and the Lilywhites remain keen.

Fisnik Asllani has emerged as Tottenham’s top striker target
According to Fussball Daten, Spurs have already begun searching for a versatile striker in Harry Kane’s mould and have set their sights on Hoffenheim’s Fisnik Asllani.
Since returning from his impressive loan spell at Elversberg last season, the 23-year-old striker has flourished, having scored eight times and provided seven assists so far this term.
It is revealed that Tottenham like Asllani’s ability to play a ‘dual role’ as a playmaker and efficient finisher, and sees him as ‘the missing piece of the puzzle’ in attack.
The Kosovo international has come to the top of Spurs’ wishlist, and the same is also true of Aston Villa. Additionally, Chelsea’s scouting department have created a ‘priority file’ on the young forward.
Asllani is available for a cut-price deal this summer
Fussball Daten say that the feeling among top English clubs is that Asllani is a ‘modern target man’, who can cope with the physical and technical demands of Premier League football.
Bayern Munich are also keeping tabs on the striker, who has a release clause of just €30 million (£26m) in his Hoffenheim contract.
This clause has made sporting directors across Europe sit up and take notice, with some considering the deal to potentially be the ‘bargain of the century’.
