Tottenham Hotspur have not given up their pursuit of a 26-year-old Premier League forward, but he has reportedly been offered to a European club.
Conor Gallagher has become Tottenham’s first signing of the January window, and the midfielder’s arrival is expected to be followed by Brazilian left-back Souza, who will soon be announced as a Spurs player.
The Lilywhites are now expected to turn their attention to strengthening their forward line, and one Man City star has been mooted as a target for the Lilywhites.
The player in question is Omar Marmoush, who has started just twice in the Premier League this term for Pep Guardiola’s men.

Tottenham target Omar Marmoush is open to a loan move
A new report in the Turkish outlet Haber Sarikirmizi has now claimed that Marmoush is willing to leave the Etihad Stadium this month in search of regular game time.
The outlet backs up what we have heard from other sources over recent weeks by revealing that Tottenham Hotspur and Aston Villa are both circling over Marmoush.
Interestingly, it is revealed that the forward has been offered to Galatasaray on a temporary move. The report explains that Marmoush sees his long-term future at City and only wants to leave on loan this window.
Mixed reports regarding Man City’s stance on Marmoush
Over recent weeks, some reports have suggested that Man City could be open to offloading Marmoush after securing the services of Antoine Semenyo.
However, others, such as David Ornstein, are convinced that Man City will not let the Spurs target leave mid-season as they eye a charge towards the Premier League title.
Marmoush will return to England next week after featuring in the third-place AFCON playoff against Nigeria this Saturday. This was after the North African side were beaten by Pape Sarr’s Senegal in the semifinal on Wednesday.
