Tottenham Hotspur have been tracking a highly rated German midfielder for some time, and there is a good chance he will leave his current club this summer.
Tottenham Hotspur have enjoyed adding to their midfield in recent years and did so in the summer by completing the signing of Xavi Simons.
Spurs entered the market again in January for a player who could occupy the middle of the park and managed to secure Conor Gallagher from Atletico Madrid.
This pattern may well continue in the summer, because Tottenham have spent months tracking Felix Nmecha at Borussia Dortmund.

Tottenham could sign Felix Nmecha for £50m
According to BILD (as relayed by Sport Witness) Nmecha will likely leave the Bundesliga outfit if they receive a £52m bid for his services this summer.
The 25-year-old’s future is said to ‘hang in the balance’, with Dortmund set to face a busy summer of exits.
Spurs are one of numerous clubs interested in Nmecha, but his current employers still intend to use him as a key player going forward.
Spurs might reconsider whether to sign Nmecha after Thomas Frank’s departure
The future at Tottenham remains uncertain following the sacking of Thomas Frank, and this could affect their summer transfer plans.
While Igor Tudor looks to be the incoming Spurs interim manager, it remains to be seen who Tottenham hand the permanent job to in the summer.
It is important to back whoever the new manager turns out to be with players he actually wants, which might cause Spurs to reconsider their interest in Nmecha.
However, the slick passer would look good in most teams, and if the Tottenham hierarchy see him as a good fit, an offer could be placed to bring him to the club anyway.
