Tottenham Hotspur have announced the departure of Igor Tudor just over six weeks after appointing him as their head coach until the end of the season.

The decision comes following the death of his father, Mario, which Tudor found out about moments after Sunday's defeat to Nottingham Forest. As a result, he did not do the post-match press conference, with Spurs assistant coach Bruno Saltor fulfilling those duties instead.

Tottenham are now searching for their third head coach of the season after sacking Thomas Frank in February. Spurs sit 17th in the Premier League table with seven matches remaining.

Adi Hutter is one coach the club are credited with an interest in after being sacked by Monaco in October. Roberto De Zerbi also remains without a club after leaving Marseille earlier this year.

Ryan Mason is someone Spurs have turned to twice before as an interim. He is also available again after being fired by West Bromwich Albion in early January.

Sean Dyche is similarly on the market after being dismissed by Forest a day after Frank left Tottenham. Harry Redknapp is also a much-discussed former Spurs manager who has spoken repeatedly about a potential return to the club.
