Igor Tudor is yet to win a game with Tottenham Hotspur since stepping in as interim head coach, and a number of managers have been tipped to replace him before season's end
Igor Tudor continues to face mounting pressure with Tottenham Hotspur, having failed to achieve victory in north London in his first five games.
While Richarlison's late equaliser against Liverpool on Sunday may have saved the Croatian's skin, as Spurs fought back to a 1-1 draw with the defending Premier League champions, Tudor's work thus far has been less than convincing.
Combined with a 4-1 loss in the North London Derby, a 2-1 defeat from Fulham, a 3-1 humbling by Crystal Palace and a 5-2 demolition from Atletico Madrid in the Champions League last week, fans and pundits are questioning whether the 47-year-old is the right man for the job.
Despite lacklustre results, Tudor will remain in charge for Spurs' second-leg last 16 clash with Atleti come Wednesday, with the club announcing that he will address the media on Tuesday at 2pm. The bookmakers appear to have less faith in the head coach than the club, slashing the odds for a potential successor to arrive in the coming days.
Here, the football.london looks at the next Spurs manager odds via Bet356, and offer a verdict on their suitability for the role...
Mauricio Pochettino - 13/8
The odds on favourite for the Spurs job is Mauricio Pochettino - despite holding tenure with the United States national football team for this summer's World Cup. While there is very little chance of the Argentinian returning to north London ahead of the tournament, he could opt to leave his current post ahead of the fresh Premier League season.
The 54-year-old was spotted in the stands at the Riyadh Air Metropolitano for Spurs' 5-2 loss to Atletico Madrid last week, and it will be interesting to see if he makes the trip to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium for the reverse on Wednesday evening.
Our verdict: There's a reason Pochettino is favourite for the role, given his past affiliation with the club. Premier League proven with a number of clubs, the seasoned manager could be the man to reverse Spurs' current fortunes.
The kicker is that Poch is only likely to come back should they avoid relegation from the English top flight come May, as the Championship is a little under his pay grade.

Roberto De Zerbi - 3/1
Roberto De Zerbi has been heavily linked with a move to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium despite revealing that he has no plans to return to the managerial game any time soon. The Italian was most recently with Marseille since 2024, before he left the club via mutual consent in February following a 5-0 loss to PSG and a Champions League exit.
His stance could chance in the summer, but at present, De Zerbi looks likely to enjoy some time away from football.
Our verdict: Having managed Brighton between 2022 and 2024, De Zerbi has proven that he can hang with the best in the Premier League. However, should Spurs aspire to be back challenging for European football and a top five finish in the English top flight, I'm not convinced that the 46-year-old is the best candidate.
Sean Dyche - 11/2
Sean Dyche is third favourite to take up a post with Spurs in the coming months, although the Englishman is thought to be reluctant to take up a short-term contract with any club. The 54-year-old became the third head coach to be sacked by Nottingham Forest this season in February, with the club cutting ties with Nuno Espirito Santo in September and Ange Postecoglou just a month later.
Our verdict: Known to thrive in relegation battles, Dyche's appointment with the club would have been better placed ahead of Tudor's arrival. With that said, the old-school seasoned veteran doesn't provide the most enthralling football and has failed to truly thrive in the Premier League thus far - and it would be a big gamble giving him the reins at the start of the season.
Harry Redknapp - 7/1
At 79 years old, Harry Redknapp explained at last week's Cheltenham: "They know where I am if they need me," regarding Spurs, as the Lilywhites find themselves caught up in a serious relegation battle. He added: "They need somebody to go in there and give them a lift and make them believe in themselves.
"They're bang in trouble, I must be truthful. It's going to be tight at the bottom, isn't it?"
Our verdict: Despite being second to practically none in terms of adoration of the club, Redknapp would again be a major gamble with Tottenham. He has not managed a club since his departure from Birmingham City in 2017, and his style of play could be considered outdated given how much the game has evolved since his wonder years.
Robbie Keane - 10/1
Relatively new to the world of football management, club legend Robbie Keane has also emerged as an outsider to take up a role with Spurs ahead of next season. As per Give Me Sport, the 45-year-old - who plied his trade at White Hart Lane for eight years - is open to taking up the job despite currently thriving with Ferencvaros.
Elsewhere, club director Judit Berkesi has acknowledged that the Dubliner is not untouchable in his current role. He said: "This is actually the club’s merit in this respect, that we are already at a point where we can sell not only players well in certain cases, but also head coaches in the last two cases.
"It is certain that this possibility may also exist with Robbie in certain cases, despite the fact that he feels very good here, can really work in very good conditions, receives all the support that is possible, and the coaches can appreciate this as well."
Our verdict: I'm starting to sound like a broken record, but given Keane is incredibly fresh-faced to the managerial scene and he has no prior experience at the helm of a Premier League team, his appointment wouldn't be without its risks. His one credit among many others on this list, however, is that he is truly thriving with his current club and certainly has a bright future.
