Tottenham player could force exit using previously unknown clause in his contract

Antonin Kinsky is being linked with a summer departure from Tottenham Hotspur, and he could make this happen thanks to a clause in his contract.

It seems unlikely that Antonin Kinsky will play for Tottenham Hotspur again, at least for a considerable amount of time.

The Czech keeper’s disastrous display in Madrid is all anyone can seem to talk about whenever his name gets a mention.

Since the game, it has already been reported that Kinsky is expected to push for a Spurs exit, as it is difficult to bounce back from such an awful night in the Champions League.

Antonin Kinsky’s Tottenham contract has a clause which could enable exit

According to iSport, Kinsky has been blocked from leaving Tottenham on loan in the past. However, a season away from the club is considered ‘much more likely’ after the events of the past week.

There is a clause in Kinsky’s contract which will cause him to be released on loan if he does not make a certain number of appearances.

The exact details of this agreement are currently unclear, but the shot-stopper is unlikely to play again this season, which could allow him to secure his Spurs exit.

A year away from North London could do Kinsky a world of good, but Tottenham will be left with a shortage of players to stand between the sticks.

Josh Keeley was sold to Luton Town last summer, and Brandon Austin is clearly not seen as an important figure at the club.

Plus, Spurs have been tempted to sell Guglielmo Vicario, which means not one, but two new goalkeepers may be needed this summer.

Therefore, Tottenham need to be proactive and ensure they secure the personnel required in order to compete on all fronts next season.
