Tottenham press conference LIVE: Igor Tudor on Antonin Kinsky, brutal snub, his future at Spurs

1 hour ago 5

Igor Tudor will speak to the media after watching his struggling Tottenham side suffer a devastating 5-2 defeat in the first leg of their Champions League last-16 tie with Atletico Madrid.

Tudor made the bold call of dropping Guglielmo Vicario but his replacement Antonin Kinsky endured a nightmare performance. The 22-year-old slipped to allow Marcos Llorente to score after six minutes before he conceded again in the 14th minute.

It got worse 92 seconds later when his scuffed kick allowed Julian Alvarez to walk the ball into the empty net, with Vicario replacing Kinsky after 17 minutes and Spurs went into half-time 4-1 down.

It was a disastrous evening for Spurs and despite a spirited attempt to get back into the match, the Spanish giants take a huge lead into next week's return leg in north London.

Our Tottenham correspondent Alasdair Gold is among those in Madrid asking the questions to Tudor. Scroll down for his latest updates from the press conference at the Metropolitano stadium...
