RB Leipzig sources have now set the record straight on Yan Diomande’s future amidst reports linking the winger with a move to Tottenham Hotspur and other European giants.
Over the last week, Spurs have been installed as one of the front-runners to land Diomande, who has been one of the best young attackers on show in the Bundesliga this term.
It was initially reported that Leipzig are demanding a whopping €100m (£87m) for Diomande in January, which was alleged to be what his release clause was worth.
However, it emerged over the last few days that the Bundesliga side may be willing to sell Diomande to Spurs for just around £50m.

Leipzig will not entertain offers for Tottenham target Yan Diomande
TEAMtalk have now revealed that sources at the Red Bull Arena have laughed off suggestions that their talisman would be let go for £50m
In fact, they assert that Diomande’s contract at Leipzig does not contain any release clause and the German club will not listen to any offers for the player in January.
A source close to the club is quoted as saying: “There is no price on Diomande, let’s make that clear. However, any suggestions that he could be available for around €60m is frankly laughable.
“Yan is a special talent, everyone knows this – arguably the best young talent in the world right now. You can only imagine the value for such a player.”
Spurs will face intense competition for Diomande’s services
TEAMtalk confirm that Tottenham Hotspur are one of the clubs to have spoken to the Ivory Coast international representatives about a January move.
However, Arsenal and Man United have also made contact with Diomande’s camp, while Liverpool have been hugely impressed by the 19-year-old’s development over recent months.
Additionally, Bayern Munich, Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain are all looking at Leipzig as a potential option to strengthen their attack.
