Igor Tudor has offered a timely update on two injured Tottenham Hotspur players ahead of next week, providing a potential lift at a crucial stage of the season.
Tottenham Hotspur’s struggles this season continued even after the appointment of Igor Tudor following the dismissal of Thomas Frank a few weeks ago.
The former Juventus manager failed to get his Tottenham tenure off to a winning start as he saw Arsenal thump Spurs 4-1 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
There is, of course, no excuse for such humiliation. However, Tottenham’s current injury woes, with just 13 senior players available for the north London derby, is a worrying situation for Tudor to find himself in.

Tottenham injury update as Igor Tudor confirms Pedro Porro and Kevin Danso return hope
The final 11 games of the season are now crucial as Spurs battle to remain in the Premier League.
Getting his injured players back will also be vital if Tottenham are to stay competitive in both the league and the Champions League.
Some respite appears to be on its way, with Tudor confirming that two Tottenham players are closing in on a return to full fitness.
When asked by football.london whether any injured players, including Pedro Porro and Kevin Danso, could return for the Fulham game, Tudor offered a brief but hopeful response, saying: “Yeah, probably two of them. We hope.”
Spurs boost could aid Igor Tudor’s system shift
The return of these two players will certainly be a significant boost for Tudor, who prefers a three-at-the-back system.
There is no denying that Joao Palhinha struggled as a makeshift centre-back option against Arsenal, with the midfielder often dragged out of position.
Having Kevin Danso return to that backline should bring more stability heading into the upcoming fixtures.
Porro will also slot in at wing-back, allowing Archie Gray to be deployed in his more natural midfield position, which should help restore some balance to the side.
