Tottenham reveal quadruple injury boost: Kudus, Bentancur, Maddison, Solanke

Igor Tudor has issued an injury update on his Tottenham squad ahead of a crucial clash with Nottingham Forest, with positive news on James Maddison, Mohammed Kudus, Rodrigo Bentancur, Dominic Solanke, and Joao Palhinha.

Tottenham Hotspur know that securing all three points this weekend against Nottingham Forest is vital for their Premier League survival.

It is a relegation six-pointer, and a victory for either side will see them extend the gap between themselves and the drop.

For Spurs, they can go four points clear of the relegation zone, while Forest can move three points clear of West Ham United and two of Spurs.

However, either side could still drop to 18th with a defeat and a West Ham United win, leaving it all to play for.

Tottenham injury update: Mohammed Kudus could be back in 10 days

Ahead of the clash, Igor Tudor might be fancying his chances given how his team have performed in recent games.

Spurs drew with Liverpool last time out in the league and beat Atletico Madrid 3-2 in the Champions League on Wednesday night.

That is a big boost for the Lilywhites heading into this match, with further encouragement on the injury front.

Tottenham, who were missing a total of 13 players against Liverpool last weekend and 11 against Atletico Madrid, are now set to be without just seven this weekend.

Cristian Romero, Conor Gallagher, Lucas Bergvall and Destiny Udogie, who all made their returns on Wednesday, are set to be back in the team for the Premier League clash.

Meanwhile, several players remain sidelined, with Dejan Kulusevski, Mohammed Kudus, Rodrigo Bentancur, Yves Bissouma, Ben Davies, Wilson Odobert and James Maddison all still out.

Richarlison, who was suspended in Europe, can feature, while Souza should return after being ineligible in the Champions League.

However, Joao Palhinha remains a doubt, and Tudor has now provided an update on his Tottenham squad ahead of the clash with Forest this weekend. There is even some surprise good news on Mohammed Kudus, James Maddison, and Rodrigo Bentancur.

He told the official Tottenham channels and Football London: “Dom didn’t train, but probably tomorrow he will train with the team, and I think he will be available. He had a hip problem, but I think he will be ok.”

On Maddison potentially playing again this season, he added: “Yeah, Maddison is already doing some interesting things with the ball and sprinting, he is positive.”

Tudor then added that Kudus could return in the next 10 days, while Joao Palhinha is back in training, and Rodrigo Bentancur is edging closer.
