Vinai Venkatesham and Johan Lange have been tasked with finding a replacement for Igor Tudor, who parted ways with Tottenham Hotspur by mutual consent over the weekend.
Tottenham Hotspur have broadened their search for a new head coach. Igor Tudor parted ways with the Lilywhites by mutual consent over the weekend, leaving Bruno Saltor in charge until Vinai Venkatesham and Johan Lange appoint a replacement.
football.london understands that Spurs expect to appoint a new boss in the coming days. Tottenham want a head coach in place to welcome back those who have reported for international duty, giving the squad sufficient time to prepare for the end-of-season run-in.
The north Londoners will return to action on Sunday, April 12, when they lock horns with Sunderland at the Stadium of Light, giving any potential new boss just under two weeks to instil confidence in the players.
Tottenham are in a race against time, and they've reportedly pulled together as many as 10 candidates for the vacancy in the dugout. According to the BBC, Roberto De Zerbi, who is available following his departure from Marseille earlier this season, has emerged as a frontrunner for the position.

The report claims the Italian has been viewed as a 'primary target', and Spurs have previously tried to enquire about his availability. It's said De Zerbi could be open to becoming the next head coach, but he would prefer to wait until the end of the season, when he knows whether Tottenham are still in the Premier League.
The BBC have also named Sean Dyche as a potential option on a short-term basis. The report claims the 54-year-old, who's available following his sacking by Nottingham Forest in February, would want an 18-month contract.

Mauricio Pochettino has been mooted as a candidate for the vacancy at Hotspur Way. But, still, his contract with the USMNT isn't set to expire until after the World Cup, making any immediate move 'extremely difficult'.
The BBC reckon Ryan Mason, Harry Redknapp and Tim Sherwood would be open to taking the job on an interim basis until the end of the season. It's said Ben Davies has also been considered, although he'd likely have to sacrifice many of his minutes on the pitch.
Glenn Hoddle and Chris Hughton have also reportedly been touted. Adi Hutter was floated as an option too, however he's recently distanced himself from the opportunity, Speaking to Sky Sports Austria, the former Monaco gaffer said: "In the last few days and weeks, I have been increasingly linked with various clubs.
"However, as I already said immediately after my time at Monaco, I fundamentally want to work as a head coach again at the beginning of the new season at the earliest. My stance on this topic has not changed since then."
Robbie Keane could also be in the running, having emerged as one of the reoccurring names across various betting sites. The former Tottenham striker is currently under contract at Ferencvaros, where he's in the midst of a title race.
