PSG may be widening its talent search to England after meeting with several Premier League sides in 2025, including Manchester City, Liverpool, Aston Villa, Arsenal, Chelsea, and Tottenham Hotspur.

One player now on the radar is Crystal Palace midfielder Adam Wharton. TBR Football recently reported that Liverpool, Chelsea, Manchester City, and Manchester United have all been closely monitoring Wharton as progress continues.

If Wharton chooses to take the next step, overseas interest is expected to be strong. Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, and PSG are all said to be keeping tabs on the situation.

Mirror Football has also reported that Wharton wants Champions League football at the next stop of his career.

As a result, Manchester United currently see Wharton as a priority target. PSG, meanwhile, are regular Champions League participants under Luis Enrique, which could give the French club an edge.

Nonetheless, Premier League clubs are keen on keeping Wharton in England. On Sunday, TEAMtalk reported, citing sources, that Tottenham Hotspur are interested in stepping up their pursuit of Wharton in 2026.

Tottenham showed early interest in Wharton during the last transfer window, but Crystal Palace shut the door on any discussions. The club had no intention of listening to offers, even as Manchester United, Chelsea and Real Madrid kept close tabs on the situation.

The report adds that Crystal Palace leadership are still intent on holding onto the highly rated midfielder, even with manager Oliver Glasner and standout defender Marc Guehi both widely tipped to move on.

However, there is an understanding within the club that Wharton could be sold if a suitable offer is made.
