Tottenham Hotspur have set their sights on a versatile La Liga attacker, and a January sale of the player is very much on the cards.
While Spurs have been solid defensively this season, it is their attack that has misfired, with the Lilywhites struggling to create chances with regularity.
Tottenham have been accused of being over-reliant on Mohammed Kudus in attack, and in order to solve that problem, the Lilywhites are thought to be keen on signing another top-class wide-forward.
It was reported back in September that Spurs may turn their attention to a 27-year-old La Liga winger after Savinho decided against leaving Man City in January.

Tottenham are showing a keen interest in Sevilla star Ruben Vargas
The player in question is Sevilla’s Ruben Vargas, who has impressed since arriving from FC Augsburg in January of this year, and a new update has backed up Tottenham’s interest in the player.
Orgullo Biri now claim that Vargas, who has scored four goals and provided five assists in 22 outings for Sevilla, is seen as a ‘perfect fit’ for Spurs.
The Lilywhites value the Switzerland international’s ability to play on the right wing and as a number ten, and they see him as someone who can ‘inject dynamism’ to the attack.
Thomas Frank’s men are showing ‘intense interest’ in the 27-year-old, which Sevilla are aware of.
What fee do Sevilla want for Ruben Vargas?
Orgullo Biri explain that despite Vargas impressive performances this season, Sevilla do not consider him ‘untouchable’.
This is because of the club’s poor financial situation, with the La Liga side needing to sell players to raise funds in January.
It is alleged that the Andalusian club would be happy to cash in on Vargas if Tottenham Hotspur are willing to pay over €18m (£15.8m).
