We have now heard from a very reliable source that a Tottenham forward is the subject of very keen interest from a London club.
Quite a few senior Tottenham players have been linked with an exit from the club in the January window.
The most surprising name to be put forward by the media is Brennan Johnson, who Spurs are reportedly tempted to cash in on.
As many as five English clubs are interested in the Spurs winger, who finished as the North London club’s top scorer with 18 goals last term.

Crystal Palace set Brennan Johnson as their top January target
Over the last few days, it has emerged that Crystal Palace have the most advanced interest in Johnson, who Spurs value at £50m, and another source has now talked up the Eagles’ interest in the winger.
The Athletic are now reporting that the Eagles want to reinforce their attack in January and have now identified the Tottenham man as their number one target.
However, the outlet adds that Oliver Glasner’s side would have to pay ‘a significant fee’ to get the 24-year-old out of the North London club.
Another Premier League club also showing a keen interest in Johnson
Some sources have claimed over the last week that Aston Villa and Bournemouth could challenge Palace for the Spurs winger.
The Eagles’ biggest challenge could come from Villa, who are thought to be seriously considering making a move for the Tottenham man.
Unai Emery’s side are thought to be looking at forwards with Premier League experience, and Johnson is seen as a good fit for the profile they are after.
