Tottenham Hotspur have not given up on their pursuit of Manchester City star Savinho just yet, even though there are only hours left until the transfer window closes.
While reports continue to indicate that Savinho remains keen on a move to Tottenham, the Brazilian is not too happy that Man City have blocked the move.
However, over the last few hours, several sources, including talkSPORT, have suggested that Spurs are about to abandon their pursuit of Savinho.
It has been alleged that the Lilywhites believe that Man City will not change their stance on the 22-year-old at this stage of the transfer window.
However, a new report has suggested that Tottenham Hotspur are not prepared to walk away from the deal just yet.
Savinho to Tottenham remains a possibility on deadline day
According to TBR Football, Tottenham remain determined to add an attacker to their squad before the transfer window slams shut, and Savinho remains top of Thomas Frank’s wishlist.
The outlet says that Spurs are refusing to give up on their pursuit of the former Girona man, with sources believing that this deal is one to watch in the final hours of the transfer window.
The publication adds that the Brazil international remains keen on a move to N17, and his desire could pave the way for a late move to Tottenham.
TBR also spoke to Graeme Bailey, who said about the transfer: “Spurs love Savinho and are not letting this go, am told to keep an eye on this – it is not dead in the water yet.”
Tottenham are also working on alternative options for Savinho
